Obituary of John Lewis Schultz Jr

John Lewis Schultz Jr. was born June 2nd of 1935. He passed away at home on Saturday the 24th of October 2020 in the presence of Family. John was preceded in death by his wife of fifty years, Dona Lou (Mundinger) Schultz. He is survived by his daughter Kim Garcia and her husband Victor Garcia; his son Jay Schultz and his wife Maria Schultz as well as four grandchildren, John, Andrew, Keegan, and Loren, also four great grand children and many close friends. He was born and raised in North Dakota, the son of John Schultz and Josephine (Hanson) Schultz. At seventeen, he left Wahpeton North Dakota to join the United States Air Force where he proudly served twenty two years before retiring. He went on to a second career in Civil Service before retiring in 1998. John and Dona spent their retirement enjoying family and friends. They loved taking their RV and seeing the U.S. while spending winters in Arizona. He enjoyed being a member of the local Moose Lodge, attending dances and functions. John was an honorary member of the Masons and the Scottish Right Temple where he rose to become a Master Mason. He took pleasure in becoming a Shriner and loved volunteer driving the children to hospital visits. Those who had the pleasure of knowing John Lewis Schultz Jr are invited to honor him at an interment service at Sierra View Memorial Park located at 4900 Olive Ave, Olivehurst, Ca 95961 Thursday, November 5th. A viewing will be held at 1pm prior to the service for those who wish to attend.
